Hmm...intellectual journey. To me, its all about life. The things that we see and hear. And even those things that we smell or taste. As long as we relate them back to the mightiness of the One and Only Creator, Allah...we will learn something everyday.
Our journey is about being a better person for each and everyday. As long as we know the purpose of our existence (to be Khalifah), and how to manage our conducts (to perform ibadah like you're gonna die the next day; to work like you're gonna live for a thousand years), we shall find tranquility.
This is the message and principles that I want all my kids to understand and hold on to as they grow older.
